All Else Failed -- This Never Happened relates a deeper, more subtle and personal evil, one of broken trust and betrayal.  The music is hard to classify.  The lyrics are as ugly and personally oppressive as I've ever seen.  "To whom it may concern" makes Henry Rollins look well adjusted. The upside of this (is there a down side?  maybe the twelve tons of leaves that fall on my yard every year) is that a lot of animals stroll through or even make a home right in my backyard. I finally got around to tivoing the March 9th edition of Headbanger's Ball.  Usually there's enough repeat videos that I've seen before, and enough songs turn me off in the first 30 seconds that I zip through the show pretty quickly.  The very last video of the night started out with a simple riff and an unattractive clown. But one show that I'm regularly tivoing is Battlestar Galactica.  It's damn good, possibly the best science fiction show ever.  Some called the first five minutes of the two part season one finale "the best five minutes of television ever".  The second part of the finale ended with a tremendous out of nowhere cliffhanger.
